Our Story

Craft is built on a simple idea: the people accountable for delivering client outcomes should be able to focus on the work itself.

The work we specialise in is contract and project based work where human skills are paramount: communication strategy, change, leadership consulting, events, project management, and content design. The list most certainly goes on.

In traditional agencies, the most experienced practitioners carry the responsibility for client delivery. They often sit in middle management, lead teams, and are accountable for outcomes, yet much of their time isn’t on the work. Instead, they’re pulled into executive pressures, internal reporting, utilisation targets, hiring and firing, and the demands of running the business for someone else.

We believe that the best practitioners deserve to focus on the client and the work, apply their judgement properly, and stay close to the detail that drives outcomes.

Craft brings the focus back to the work. We are a small group of highly experienced practitioners who work directly with clients, take ownership of outcomes, and remain close to delivery from start to finish.

We deliver value for money by ensuring clients are paying for experienced practitioners who are directly responsible for the work, not layers of management removed from delivery.

Craft got it’s name from the idea that true consulting and contracting isn’t about a flashy brand, big corporate parties, hiring and firing. It’s all about the work… the Craft.
